Men and women of every body size, shape and age, as well as individuals with physical disabilities, train with us. As a new student, you will learn simple, basic moves which allow you to progress safely and at your own pace. We teach a variety of techniques to defend against each attack - you'll find what works best for you!

Because Ju-Jitsu does not require great strength, anyone, regardless of age, gender, or physical condition, can learn to employ these techniques effectively. As a new student, you will learn simple, basic self-defense moves which allow you to progress safely and at your own pace.

Learning to deal with situational stress is also part of the conditioning which you will undergo at Ju-Jitsu Dojo of Columbia. If you can survive the physical and psychological pressures of a safe and friendly training environment, you'll be much more ready to face the physical and psychological pressures of the street. You will also experience a greater sense of well-being and confidence, knowing that you can defend yourself or your loved ones should the need arise.
